The owner of the Family Veterinary Pet Care Clinic, Dr. Tao, seeks to commission design of a website for the business. As a medical practice, it is
necessary for pet owners to bring their pets to the office for direct care, of course. But there are many services and points of information that the clinic can
provide at its website that will serve all of its customers - both human and animal - well, while also promoting the business and increasing its value to customers well
beyond the needs of annual vaccinations or spaying and neutering companion pets. Purpose and Design Features The Internet provides a wealth of information,
all of which varies in quality. Much of the veterinary information online is of great value to pet owners; other sites offer advice that can be detrimental and even
dangerous. Veterinarians hold slightly more direct education than do medical doctors (MDs) whose patients are human; as such they are more highly qualified to assess the value of a
websites advice and information for pet owners. There is so much good information available online already that is it not necessary for Family Veterinary Pet Care Clinic to "reinvent
the wheel" in writing and documenting advice valuable to the practices clients. Assessing some of the sites already available and recommending them to clients will suffice while also providing
additional value for clients. At present, it is not the Clinics purpose to implement an e-commerce feature, though that may be a goal
