1. Introduction Leadership is an important consideration in many areas of like, from politics and social applications through to business. The way leadership is perceived has changed significantly, moving on from the way that leadership may be examined by looking at examples of leaders in order to identify and categorize interpersonal characteristics of behavioral traits, a practice that is common in the 1950s, through to consideration the way in which different attitudes and approaches may be adopted by leaders and considerations of the psychological impact that these different approaches will have on the employees, which in turn will impact on the organization. There is a wealth of literature that indicates leadership will have a direct impact on an organization, some literature considers the underlying profitability, others look more towards the way that employees may be motivated which will improve customer services, potentially increase innovation was simply provide leadership the gains the trust of the markets, and as such supports share prices (Mintzberg et al., 2008; Thompson, 2007). There is little doubt that the determination of these, or is not, good leadership is a subjective judgment. Although it is possible to judge some forms of leadership is the subjective measures, such as the profitability of the company, authority the employees, these measure only a small amount of outputs for leadership.
