the birth of either a Hispanic baby in Atlanta or one of two African-American babies born at 7:46 am at two separate hospitals in the New York City. Which
is the baby officially pushing Americas population over the 300 million mark is irrelevant; the absence of white European heritage is not. America in the future will be a
collection of "minority" groups. In addition to the white European heritage, other groups will be Hispanic, African-American and Asian. By the time that Americas population reaches 400 million
around 2043, the white population will be about 51 percent of the total population of the country. The lesson for organizations is not only is discrimination based on color
or ethnicity illegal, any unintended discrimination that prevents people of color rising to the top of Americas businesses will actively work against them in their efforts to become and remain
