may be structural, operational, cultural or one of many other changes types. The change may be forced upon a company, such as legislative changes, be the result of pressure, as
seen in many of the public sector organisation where there is an increased need for public accountability, or may be necessary for commercial purposes. I many instances where one change
occurs there will be a knock on effect to other areas which can harm or benefit the entire company. In this case we will assume there is a company
in a very competitive and fast moving industry providing practice-based health care advice and education programs to government agencies domestically and internationally with a total of 35 employees. The
company need communication to increase between the different employees in order to help increase the speed at which the company is able to react to the market and consumer needs,
which are changing rapidly. Having had a traditional hierarchical structure set up following the entrepreneurial stage the business has been successful. However, the business growing and the rate of growth
as well as the need for professional input means a single manager to co-ordinate all the commutations and the way cross department tasks are being performed has slowed down.
The aim of the change is to facilitate communisation paths that are horizontal as well as vertical and breaks down the barriers to communication and create an organisation that is
