Brigadoon Valley Bookshop is a successful although small, one-location book retailer. It currently seeks to establish a Web presence and enter into e-commerce. The purpose here

addressing the use of intellectual property. Defining the Prototype The functional prototype will contain additional features not evident on the current preliminary prototype
design. As example, in its current form the concept page for the Bookshops welcome page contains a space for a "Contact Us" button that does not react at present
but indicates where visitors to the site can find it and how it will appear on the final web page. The prototype as
it currently exists identifies the Brigadoon Village Bookshop; provides a link to company history; provides a link to a site map; and offers site visitors the opportunity to browse categories
and place an order online. It also provides a location for a button that will lead to security information; another for contacting the business; and a third for presenting
Brigadoons privacy policy (Michael, 2004). The background of the prototype page is light in color with some subtle texturing so that it is
not entirely plain on the order of a sheet of plain white paper. The name of the store is stylized, but large-sized and so accommodates the visually impaired.
