of promoting alternative energy technologies which are friendly to the environment. The centre attracts visitors which come to see the exhibition provides information on technology that support sustainable living.
The provision of an interactive kiosk is envisaged as complimenting the existing exhibits. The principle aim of the kiosk will be to educate the visitors about the benefits that may
be realised by solar panels and rain water technologies, this will include up to date information and visualisation of the status of the centre with reference to the solar and
water technology, and information about the centres carbon emissions. The data used for the real time reporting will be taken from the existing feedback systems which are a part of
the two systems. This will be aided by information on the technology and the performance of the centre. A secondary aim of kiosk will be to increase the knowledge of
visitors own impact on the environment. The total budget for the project is $80,000, with a targeted implementation time of three months from the proposal approval. The aim of
this report is to identify suitable aspects of design for the kiosk and its installation, including the housing and appearance of the kiosk, the technology which may be utilised, the
