draft and final draft. The student picks it up from here. I am lucky enough to have a large bathroom, and since Ive always liked theme rooms, I wanted to
do that here. Since I love movies, I had it done up like a "Pirates of the Caribbean" room for a while, with fishing nets, pirate hats, a cutlass on
the wall and photos of Capt. Jack Sparrow. But "Pirates" gave way to the film I have come to love as my favorite of all time: 2004s "The Phantom of
the Opera." Lush, romantic, tragic, sexy-it has everything! So I made over the bathroom into the Phantoms lair. The idea was to capture the incredible sense of romance and sensuality
that this film brings to the timeless story. The first idea I want to discuss is the props; the second is the photos; and the third is the overall ambiance.
Props help bring a scene to life. I spent a lot of time at Good Will and resale shops to find stuff like candelabra, silver frames, roses and stuff
that reminded me of the film. Fortunately I have a large vanity so I can set things on it. And candles! There must be close to a dozen pillar candles
in there. Of course I never light them but they have to be there or its not the Phantoms lair. And a chandelier of course; no set is complete without
