In a health care setting, many problems can and do arise as it respects communication. Sometimes, a CNA will overstep his or her boundaries. Sometimes, this occurs unwittingly when
for example a CNA feels that a patient is in distress and cannot wait for a licensed nurse to arrive. In many health care situations, people in subservient positions will
take on duties not assigned to them, and for which they may not be prepared, for the sake of the patient. When such problems arise, they are often controversial.
