love, another person. But, at the same time when asked to define love many people stumble on words for it is such a strong and diverse emotion that people cannot
often explain it, much less define it in clear terms. The following paper attempts to define love. Love When we think of love we commonly understand that there
are many different types of love. There is a paternal love, one which people have for their children. There is passionate love, which people possess for those they are intimately
close with. There is also the love people have for their parents, their friends, and even their pets. Love is a very diverse reality or emotion and one that seems
to differ, not so much in relationship to definition, but in relationship to our own actions. For example, the way we love our children is not the same way we
love our parents. But, when we break the reality of love down, the true definition of love is always the same, it just differs in application and action. Love is
something that, when truly and righteously felt, is all accepting. As a parent we love our children, or should love our children, unconditionally. This does not mean that we do
not get angry or confused and it does not mean that we even need to like our children. We love them no matter what they do. This means we want
to see them be happy, and not hurt for the most part. When we love our children we love them as individuals and we hope that life is good for
them. We are also self sacrificing for that love, because we want life to be good to them. Even in disciplining we love them for we are working towards enabling
