The student has been asked to consider two things in this paper -- first, training that managers need in terms of globalization and also methods and ways
by which management can offer training to their workforce, through use of technology. Management, when it comes to any kind of training
for globalization, needs to learn many things, depending on what type of manager it is, but the main thrust for any manager is knowing how to manage a diverse workforce.
When a global manager is trained in diversity he/she is able to better handle the multicultural workforce and understand the needs and desires of the workforce to help motivate and
maintain loyalty. But employees of a global workforce overall go beyond just being able to accept one anothers backgrounds and so on.
In this paper, well examine the global company of Dell Computer Corp., its global strategy and how it might be training its
employees and managers to think globally, through the realm of technology. We chose Dell because it is one of the few companies in its industry that has done well globally
because of its direct-to-consumer model, and because it has built its structure with the different global facets in mind. Also, Dells direct to consumer model means it can tailor computers
