As our world becomes more closely connected with one cultural group interacting more closely with others, we have become progressively more aware
of the cultural distinctions that define these groups. Many of these cultural distinctions are acceptable. Unfortunately, others are not. Very simply they are immoral. The thesis
can be presented that morality is not relative, that some acts simply cannot be justified by social, ethnic, or religious differences. Some acts are reprehensibly wrong and outside groups
have a moral action to intercede to prevent those wrongs. If the opening chapters of the 21rst century have revealed anything it is
that this is a very different world than was in place just a few decades ago. Today our world is no longer divided into geographic regions that look at
the outside world through the rigid ethnocentric lens of the status quo. Regions are no longer purely dominated by one people and one culture. Instead they have become
multicultural. While there are many advantages of multiculturalism, there are also inherent problems. Albom (86) presents a story of a dying man
