take many years of practice to develop critical thinking skills and often times managers and CEOs make a number of mistakes before learning how to make the appropriate decision for
their companies and employees. In addition, in many situations there is no right or wrong answer so people must use their best judgment in trying to determine what the overall
good is either for themselves, their employees or the people the represent. In order to think critically, one must use assumptions, facts and their own knowledge to try and come
to a specific conclusion. Thinking critically is an extremely broad term and it can apply to a number of different fields including business, ethics and even ones personal life. Whether
they know it or not, people apply critical thinking skills everyday in nearly every decision they make. Now often times these decisions do not take much thought but there are
some decisions that come up in life in which people must analyze a number of different situations, especially in ones place of employment. For example, advertising managers must critically analyze
what marketing techniques have worked in the past and which ones havent. In addition, they must decide which market their product is targeting and the amount of money they want
