business college (1997). At that time, he also began selling shoes (1997).By the time he was 22, he married a woman whose father was the owner of a chain of
Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Iowa (1997). Gacy was a success at managing his father-in-laws business and he was also a socially active citizen (1997). He even joined the
local Jaycees and held office where he received numerous honors (1997). With the exception of living in a dysfunctional home, Gacys life was relatively normal. At least he grew up,
got married and worked at a relatively ordinary job. He did not appear to be abnormal or insane. But Gacy would go on to kill at least 33 young males
