simply a book which investigates, but clearly argues that the Bush administration is destroying the country in many ways. It is, in all honesty, a very emotional book, but also
a book with a lot of valid information regarding our environment and what the Bush administration has done within the political realm of the environment. The following paper presents an
analysis of Kennedys book. Crimes Against Nature First off, without truly being an individual who researches and studies everything that goes on in the government, and an individual
who has access to all the documents and such that Kennedy makes claims regarding, it is all but impossible to detail the accuracy or inaccuracy of all of Kennedys information.
A true analysis of his work would perhaps take years to thoroughly uncover and research. As such the information or analysis presented is based on a general understanding of the
work, as well as two reviews from differing sides of the controversial work by Kennedy. Kennedy addresses many different political activities and corporate endeavors in this work. In his first
chapter he begins with the "Mess in Texas" which is the home state of Bush. He states, "According to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, fully one-quarter of Texass streams
and rivers are so polluted that they do not meet standards set for recreational use....Half of the states 20 million people reside in areas where the smog pollution surpasses federal
limits" (Kennedy, 2004; 12). In addition, Texas ranks first in toxic releases that are harmful to the environment, toxins that are released from industrial plants and they are also ranked
