oil reserves and oil process increase, not only for mineral oil but as processing increase for food oil there are likely to be significant social impacts with energy needs competing with food. Research into other areas of energy production have not yet produced results that could be applied to create energy for the masses in a cost effective and viable model that could produce high levels of energy. It is unlikely that a single solution exists, but that a range of solutions will be utilised in order to prove energy in the future. Ethanol has a great deal of potential to be used for energy and it is possible for this to be obtained form waste products, as such this may be seen as a viable approach to the creation of one for of bio fuel. When looking at the potential of ethanol production from waste products, such as wood pulp and the remains from food crops, one of the areas that is open for research is to determine some of the most effective ways of archiving this, especially from crops where this is a traditionally difficult technique. The use of Cytochrome P450, which is a family of oxidative enzymes may have a great potential to be used in order to improve the process after the starch enriched product the point where enzymes are added to the mulch. The aim of this research will be to compare two potential Cytochrome P450 enzymes that may be used in this process in order to determine which may be the most viable and to assess the potential effectiveness of their use and the optimal level of UV light to be present1. The actual enzymes to be compared is not defined, as this is up to the student to determine with their own ...
