lives are lacking on the home front. In fact, many well to do executives find that they spend less and less time at home as workplaces have become more and
more demanding. It does seem to be the case that monetary success comes with a price and in the end, it is said that people never regret spending too much
time with the family but do feel bad about the hours they spent overworking. Regrets generally go to the fact that executives spend too little time enjoying life. The
book begins with a broad view of life and but appears to be mostly applicable to people who are already materially successful. However, techniques delineated by the author are really
applicable to most people. There is nothing unique about the techniques that should render them only relevant to those who have attained monetary wealth as the work can apply to
many people. After all, the work is quite spiritually oriented and related to the idea that ones world view is important as it respect ultimate satisfaction. At the same time,
Covey (1990) sees personal relationships in a rather cold, objective way and some people may not quite see his methods as appropriate. The cognitive aspect of the work seems
to be the most important. Making a paradigm shift, as the author reiterates, is the highlight of these messages. Like other authors such as Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra, the
concept that seeing things in a particular way is very important to achieving success. Viktor Frankl is another author who has through personal experience tried to find what the meaning
