easy to understand but they are not easy to adopt and live by. The Seven Habits is known as a principled approach to life, management and leaders (Diaz, 2009).
The principles upon which these habits are based have been identified as "integrity, justice, courage, humility, temperance, and patience" (Diaz, 2009). If we think about it and reflect on this
statement, we would see that the most effective leaders and the most wonderful people we know probably hold these values close to their hearts. These peoples actions and words
reflect these values. Covey is a very spiritual person, which one learns very quickly when speaking with him or reading his material. The first three habits are very personal
in that they can help us achieve different goals or objectives (Diaz, 2009). These three encourage us to take control and to make good choices (Diaz, 2009). These three help
to make us independent (QuickMBA, 2007). The other four are more external and lead us to interdependence (Diaz, 2009; QuickMBA, 2007). The seven habits in Coveys book are: 1.
