will be both for cost and for the demand. These two interact to determine the price level. The price that is charged will not only be as a result
of the demand, but also indicated by the level of the cost drivers. This will indicate the minimum process that may be charged, but will also determine the level of
profit. There are many cost drivers that can be seen, these interact with demand to determine the price that will be charged. Cost drivers will include the general industry structure
and level of competition in the area, the number of patients that can be treated, the type of treatments offered, such and in patient and outpatient treatments. Also, the number
of beds, the mix of private insurance and Medicaid patient, the existing resources and the need for investment, and other elements that will influence the costs paid by the hospital.
One cost driver will be the type of treatments that are being offered and the mix that these make up. Hence the importance of the demographic mix, the provision
of some services will be less expensive to provide, For example, where there is the need for a CAT scanner this will have an overall impaction the costs. Where there
