also appeared in human form some two thousand years ago. The subject of Christology is controversial in a variety of ways, but first, it is important to define the
concept. What is Christology exactly? Christology is engaged in anytime people try to understand the identity of Jesus Christ (Krieg, 2002) . Whenever people try to say who Jesus
is, in a personal way, it is Christology that is engaged in (2002). Christology is actually an attempt to understand the identity of Jesus as the Christ, as well as
Gods anointed one, or Gods Son and also as the Second Person of the Trinity (2002). Indeed, Christ holds a great deal of responsibility not only as a prophet, but
as a continual source of inspiration, a person who had changed the world, and in fact the worlds savior. To those who believe he is the Savior, and a
manifestation of what was predicted, then his words of course will be followed to the letter, or at least in spirit. Of course, that is where a lot of dissension
occurs. At the same time, it seems that if one does not accept Christ as a Savior, he is either a phony, or a mere prophet, and holds no special
place in history other than to have mislead millions. Jews do not believe that the Messiah has come, though they do recognize the historical Jesus Christ who was born
into the world. Muslims similarly do not believe that Jesus was the Savior but they do not discount his teachings as having profound significance. Various religions and philosophies embrace Jesus
