elements not included in the written contract. In assessing Pattos lawsuit against Susan, it is necessary to consider each of the elements of the contract and the issues raised
in Susans breach of contract. Legal Concept #1: Breach of Contract The basis of Pattos case against Susan is his belief that they first had made a
verbal contract and then a supported written document that maintained the specific elements agreed upon and a price for these services. If the verbal contract alone was the basis
for Pattos case, then he would not had as strong a case for seeking judgment for breach of contract, based on the fact that there was no actual contract, and
verbal agreements in these situations often result in one persons word against another. The fact that Susan signed the written document, though, supports the notion that a breach of contract
occurred, but there are a number of elements that complicate this process. Breach of contract can occur when a verbal or written contract is derived and one party does
