Mr. Bibe entered into a contract later that day, but was not intoxicated enough to drive home and wake up the next morning with a full understanding of the contract into which he had entered. Though your client maintains that Mr. Bibe was intoxicated enough to render him incapacitated and unable to make contractual decisions, it appears from this own statements about the events that occurred that Mr. Bibe is simply experiencing buyers remorse. In your own letter, you state that Mr. Bibe noted the number of bottles of wine that had been consumed, that he remembered very clearly that Mr. Lotts returned with a piece of paper and that he could note the information on the contract clearly , specifically stating that Mr. Lotts had written: "I, Owen Lotts, agree to sell, and I.M. Bibe agrees to purchase The Coffee Shop at 12 N. Main Street for the sum of $300,000."
