an organization. decision-making and leadership styles must change depending on what is effective in a specific situation. What works in one situation may not work in another. One method that
is cited often is from Hersey and Blanchard who were influenced by Blake and Moutons leadership grid. Hersey and Blanchard (1996) pointed out that most models emphasized attitude; the leader
was most concerned about the product or most concerned about the people. They argued leaders need to be concerned about both the product and the people (Hersey and Blanchard, 1996).
