way to achieve that goal. The purpose here is to assess some of the challenges facing GuidingLight and suggest how the company might
be able to solve its problems by exercising greater integrity. Two Problems Two of the problems that GuidingLight has are (1) its team
selection process and (2) its approach to disciplinary actions against employees. The team selection process is one by which a team leader is
selected for a specific contract, and then the team leader puts together the project team from the consultants currently available. This should be a reasonable approach to forming the
consulting team and likely would be if the needs of the customer were taken into account. The team leader appears to have selected team members for the Hennessey project
using only the criteria of consultants areas of specialty and whether the team leader expects to be able to work with them well. The team leader did not consider
the needs of the customer in putting the team together, otherwise she would not have included Tania on this particular project. Non-Performance Issues
