blood content is a particular level, a person will be given a DWI, or a DUI. They are both the same thing, but given different terms it seems in different
states and jurisdictions. The following paper examines the various types of consequences/impact of getting a DWI. Consequences/Impact of a DWI As mentioned, when someone gets a DWI it
means they are driving while drunk. As everyone knows, when someone is drunk their reaction time is much slower than normal and they are more likely to get into an
automobile accident as they have less cohesive abilities to prevent an accident or pull themselves out of a possible accident. The alcohol blood level required to determine if a person
is driving drunk is .08 percent, a percentage ultimately arrived at by all states. Each individual is different in relationship to how much they can drink before they reach that
particular blood alcohol level. As can well be expected, there are many different consequences or ramifications or impacts that a DWI can cause. The following sections are divided into
legal, personal, and emotional implications and consequences. The paper does not assume that anyone was injured when the DWI was received, and merely speaks of the consequences and impact that
getting a DWI, being simply arrested for drunk driving, can have on any individual. Legal Each state in the nation is a bit different in how they deal
