A 5 page paper which discusses aspects of conflict resolution as it applies to very young children. For the most part, it appears as though most adults do whatever they can to stop any conflicts that toddlers and young children might have. This is predominantly due to the fact that most adults prefer to avoid conflict as well, and as such they are uncomfortable when young children are involved in conflict. The discussion herein revolves around allowing children to experience conflict so as to be better prepared for such conflict that constantly arises in life. Only through experiencing it, and developing skills, can children hope to have good conflict resolution skills in their adult years. Bibliography lists 4 sources.
