summers evening, classical guitarist Daniel Bolshoy and mezzo soprano Julie Nesrallah provided a musical journey, entitled "Spanish Serenade," which took their audience from the "streets of Andalucia" to the "courts
of the Spanish Kings" for a night of enchanted music from a country rich in musical tradition (DB&JN). These two highly talented, beautiful young people lit up the nighttime stage
with their talent and expertise, as well as their obvious enthusiasm for the Spanish musical idiom. Daniel Bolshoy began his study of the guitar at the Academy of Arts
and Science in Jerusalem (Spanish Serenade). He then studied at Carleton University before receiving his Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Toronto (DB&JN). Bolshoy completed his music education
at the University of Denver where a Masters in Music Performance (Magna cum Laude), under the supervision of the world-renowned performer Ricardo Iznaola (DB&JN). Bolshoy is currently an instructor
in guitar at the Indiana University School of Music where he has developed a course on the history of the guitar (DB&JN). Bolshoy has performed worldwide, as well as many
recitals in his native Canada. In this concert, he collaborates with a fellow Canadian, mezzo soprano Julie Nesrallah, a duo that regularly draws capacity crowds and glowing reviews. Nesrallah
