automobiles. Certainly, this is a regulated and expensive item. People pay a great deal of money on mandated car insurance and then they must be licensed to drive the thousand
pounds of metal to a job that is regulated and taxed by the government. They exit their automobiles and into the building they go. The workplace is likely entrenched in
some form of bureaucracy, even if the atmosphere sports a relaxed corporate culture. There is most probably still a hierarchy and an order. One may see it as a cage
or prison of sorts, dependent upon where they work. Not every one goes to a job of course. Children go to school instead. They too go from one box to
another. They go from home to the automobile or bus, and into the school. The school is perhaps the organization that is most entrenched in government bureaucracy. And then of
course, there are the prisons. Not everyone wakes up in a comfortable bed. Although some people genuinely need to be incarcerated--to protect society-- there are innocent victims of no nonsense,
intolerant drug regulations or people whose identity is mistaken, in there too. Of course, that is one side of the story. Not everyone is unhappy in society and to look
at the world as one composed of boxes or cages or bureaucracy seems rather hopeless. In fact, no one--except perhaps a sociologist--looks at the world that way. Most people just
wake up in the morning in the freedom of the United States of America. They open the curtains to let the sunshine in. They turn on the coffee maker and
open Starbucks latest flavor that they purchase with the money they made at a wonderful new job. They are day dreaming about the weekend where they are planning a trip
