respect to comparative politics, the following concepts are significant: Classical Liberalism: Because classical liberalism is a theory associated with an earlier era, it is useful in respect to
comparative politics when discussing the development of states. For example, when evaluating how industrialization affected the development of Europe as compared with the development of the United States, this theory
would be useful. Comparative method: One may use the comparative method in comparative politics by looking at origins of political systems or nations. For example, the French Revolution
may be compared to the American Revolution. Each had a different outcome but there are some similarities. The conclusion may be that while there are similarities, an absence of monarchy
in each system and so forth, there are essential differences as well. Gross Domestic Product (GDP): Many businesses look to economic indicators in order to make business decisions. It
is one thing to suggest that the economy is in recovery, or that things are rather optimistic, and another to see in black and white just what the situation is.
Of course, there are numerous indicators, one of which is the Gross Domestic Product or GDP. As far as comparative politics is concerned, GDP can be used to assess how
