of life. There is even talk in some regions of outlawing smoking in ones own home. And, in the state of Arkansas it is illegal to smoke in a car
if there is a child in the car. In light of such heated controversy and debate there is likely a big difference between smokers and non-smokers. But, at the same
time they are all people and thus share many similar qualities as well. Comparison/Contrast: Smokers and Non-Smokers In first comparing smokers and non-smokers one could well argue that
everyone has a vice. A non-smoker may well be a drinker, may be addicted to food, or may find it impossible to not drink soda or coffee every day. Some
people are addicted to reality television, or soap operas. Some people are obsessed with a hobby. Everyone likely has some sort of vice to help them through life, to help
them through the day and as such smokers are not any different than non-smokers. It just so happens that their addiction is dangerous to their health, and the health of
those around them, and that their vice is obvious to everyone around them. From another comparison standpoint smokers and non-smokers are people, which means smokers and non-smokers can share
ideals, dreams, political positions, economic positions. For example, even the President of the United States is a smoker, or was until recently. He is wealthy, well educated, multi-multicultural, and a
democrat. There are likely many men who hold similar positions in terms of socioeconomic positions (aside from being the President) that are non-smokers. In essence, being a smoker or a
non-smoker does not dictate how one works, becomes educated, or lives. As such one cannot look at a smoker and immediately know they are uneducated or poor for smoking, and
