assessed by looking at their financial performance, considering their profit and liquidity. These are performance measures, along with others such as efficiency that are taken into account when investors decide
whether to make a purchase or sell a stock. However, when looking at the movement of stock prices, it is not only the financial performance that is considered by investors.
Investors are looking to the futures, and are purchasing a share with the aim of making a profit; as such it is the future of the firm and its expected
performance and likely returns that are to be considered. The price of shares is subject to supply and demand and the subjective judgements of the investors. When looking at the
way that shares are valued the way the firm has performance as well as different events can be seen as having an impact. Three banking organizations; Wells Fargo, Goldman
