World Christian Encyclopedia reports there are about 2 billion Christians in the world, which represents about one-third of the entire population of the world. Christianity is about twice as large
as the second largest religion in the world, Islam (Fastest Growing Religion, 2009). Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was born to a virgin mother, Mary and her
husband, Joseph. He was born in Bethlehem but spent most of His life in Nazareth. His birth established the calendar with His birth year representing 1 A.D., Anno Domini, Year
of the Lord. We know about Christ from the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Josephus Flavius was one Roman historian who mentioned Jesus in his writings although since he
was born in 37 A.D., Josephus gained his knowledge from those who were teaching the Word of Christ and from those people following that Word (Harding, 2002). We
know next to nothing about Jesus childhood. We know Mary and Joseph fled when the king ordered all male children under the age of 2 years to be slaughtered. We
also know that at age 12 years, Jesus was teaching "learned men" in the Temple (Luke 2:41-52). It was during that incident that Jesus first acknowledged that He was Gods
Son. Joseph was a carpenter in a small village. Nazareth was a farming village but it was also a hub for the market which made it an importance social
and economic center in that geographic region. There was a temple in Nazareth which had multiple purposes. It was used for worship, it was also used as a general meeting
