the worlds justice systems. For example, the United States depends on its citizens to offer voluntary youth support activities as a means to prevent crime, while Ireland has made
it a part of their justice system. Ireland has taken a European approach which seeks to become a support system not only for the offender, but the victim and
victims family as well, rather than merely dealing with criminals has happens in the United States and Canada. While this is the result of hundreds of years of conflict
and hatred between Northern and Southern Ireland, this is not a new focus for some of the world, particularly European countries like Germany and France.
While the judicial systems between North and South Ireland are the same, they operate differently. Canada also has two main districts, British Columbia and Quebec,
each with a unique viewpoint on justice. The United States has perhaps the most complex judiciary system and hierarchy because it has a national justice system and fifty separate
justice systems. Each state or province in the U.S., Ireland and Canada, has local justice systems in place that may differ from the state/province systems. For all three
countries, the world is a vigilant watchdog, judging the actions of all judiciaries through the International Criminal Court. The student may want to state here that because of the
