were concocted and exploited to increase sales. However, there is now a line drawn between tabloid type rags and respected publications. Two of the most powerful worldwide publications
are The New York Times and the United Kingdoms The Guardian. With daily circulation the multimillions, these newspapers are consulted perhaps more in any other to read the latest
breaking news on the war in Iraq. Each newspaper employs an impressive and award-winning international staff of journalists that report the complex stories, scandals, statistics, and body counts this
tragic story has generated since the war began on March 19, 2003. Conservative critics on both sides of the Atlantic have condemned The New York Times and The Guardian
