Essay / Research Paper Abstract
A 9 page paper examining the communications and management problems at a small and rapidly-growing biotechnology firm. The changes that should take place at Aspro right away are (1) management become more accountable to employees and provide regular reports; (2) members of all departments of the company meet with each other to discuss unique and common concerns; (3) management adopt an "open door policy" by which any employee at any level can freely contact senior management and be heard; and (4) management communicate to all the vision it has for the company to gain support for long-term goals. Aspro needs to have a common goal and a shared vision. At present it has neither. The Harvard-style bibliography lists 7 sources.

difficulty is a leading factor in the development of the problems at Aspro, but there are other negative factors at work as well. SWOT Analysis Strengths * The company is
successful and is growing rapidly. * Aspro attracts the attention and support of venture capitalists. Weaknesses * Management is weak * In the face of absence of leadership, none of
the 14 employees of the company demonstrates leadership ability or even a willingness to seek to improve conditions. Opportunities * Aspros founders are meeting with pharmaceutical companies, which ostensibly are
