During the foundation year of education the student gained the position of a class representative. This is a opposition that is elected by the students of the class based on
their perceptions of the candidates. To attract and then gain the votes the students needed to communicate effectively to a large group of other students, ensuring that they understood his
views and what he was offering. The process included a period of nomination and then speeches with more informal campaigning to gain support. Issues that were of concern were
the way that the candidate representative believed they could help students in the class and the approach they would take to helping the resolution of any problems. The student
would have had to convince a large number of students, who he had never met before, that he was honest, caring had integrity and also the skills and confidence to
undertake the role of the student representative. In gaining this position over competition form other students for the post and retaining the confidence of the students all the way through
the collage the initial perception created during campaigning and persuasiveness were see not only to be effective, but also honest and backed up with the promised skills. Question 2
In any environment there is the need to work with others, this is not always easy as sometime the others may not be communicative or responsive. During the final
