To understand Dantons significance with regard to the Committee of Public Safety, it is imperative to become well-versed on his earlier experiences.
For without understanding his past contributions and interactions, one would not have a comprehensive awareness of his accomplishments. Some of Dantons attributes were physical in nature: a strapping man
with a lofty physique, his appearance lent itself well to the strong personality that complemented it. His incessant energy and intense force, both in personal and professional application, were
two of Dantons strongest characteristics, helping him to become the extraordinary public speaker for which he was known. Charismatic and opinionated, Danton soon
had a grand following. His leadership style attracted much attention from those who supported his way of thinking, as well as those who opposed it. Without question, he
was a difficult person to ignore, whether or not you believed in this theories. It was because of this huge popularity, however, that Dantons critics began to suspect foul
