the quantity of war-related stressors does not necessarily play a significant role in this association, inasmuch as it only takes one incident to catapult an individual into the depths of
PTSD. "While fatalities and casualties [of the Iraqi war] were relatively light compared to other conflicts historically, individual incidents can, nevertheless, have a lasting impact on individuals who witness
them or are involved" (Musruck et al, 2003, pp. 4-9). Research indicates how cognitive behavioral therapy is a particularly useful approach in
