positive possibilities, that can truly make life better for the human race. The following paper examines the pros and cons of cloning and then provides an argument in favor of
certain types of cloning. Pros and Cons There are many pros and cons to the issue of cloning. In all honesty, the controversy would not be so great
were there not so many of pros and cons. And to add to the problem, the division between cloning of animals and cloning of humans further divides the subject. In
discussing the pros and cons we first present an examination of the pros and cons related to animal cloning. One of the arguments in favor of animal cloning is
that there is the ability to "use identical specimens so that cause/effect can be better analyzed" (Is Cloning Right? The Pros and Cons). If experiments are done on the animals
if all the animals are the same genetic code then there is less chance for deviation in results due to genetic makeup. This could prove invaluable in relationship to curing
diseases. Another argument in favor of animal cloning is that which relates to products. If more animals can be cloned, animals that are used for consumption, then mass production is
more economically feasible and the product is far less likely to suffer from deviation. Many argue that this will prove invaluable for feeding the human population on the earth. If
