out of the realm of possibility. In a book entitled Madam President: Blazing the Leadership Trail by Eleanor Clift and her husband Tom Brazaitis, authors address this very issue and
more. In fact, Clift and Brazaitis include a variety of historical facts on just how women are becoming more prominent in politics and end with speculation on how a woman
could succeed in the highest office. Of course, they are not the only authors who believe that this is possible. Many people look at Hillary Clinton as a viable candidate.
Having been First Lady and presently a senator from a large state she never really lived in before, Clinton could win the White House some day. With this speculation, some
want her to run against Condoleezza Rice. Whether or not there is ever a female candidate, the point is that people are talking about it. With Gina Davis looking presidential,
people are beginning to feel more comfortable with a woman at the helm. The book begins with a chapter entitled "Getting Organized." It begins with a story where women sat
down in the early 1980s to plot strategy and ends with the disastrous Ferraro run. The important thing to know about this meeting is that what came out of it
