are many who would argue that the Cinderella story is one that could well influence little girls in negative ways, instilling in them the idea that they must be pretty
and kind and if they are they will ultimately get a prince, be rich, and live happily ever after. The following paper examines how the Cinderella stories influences little girls
and how they could influence little girls. Cinderella Stories While there are many different versions of the story it is generally a story that involves a young girl/woman
whose mother died and father remarries. His new wife has daughters and ultimately the father dies, leaving the young girl/woman alone with her step mother and step sisters, all of
whom are generally very cruel and mean, and often ugly as well. She is made to be the servant of the household and kept from becoming active in the community
or going to parties. She secretly goes to the ball held at the castle and there she meets the prince. She leaves behind a slipper and the prince goes on
a mission of finding out who the slipper belongs to. In the end he finds her, she is happy with her prince and she lives happily ever after. For the
most part Cinderella is always a very kind and generous individual who does not anger at her horrible treatment. And she is generally considered to be very pretty, prettier than
