The US steel industry has been hobbled in one way or another literally since the founding in 1901 of the company that would dominate the US steel industry.
As China industrializes at a rapid rate, the same constraints that have affected textiles, semiconductors and programming skills also have affected the steel industry with the result that Chinas steel
often is cheaper in the US than US steel, even with the cost of shipping. The steel industry has some recourse now that China is a member of the

the US Steel Industry The "gilded age" of Americas history is one that was full of expectation and change. It was the
time when the mystique of the American Dream spread throughout the Western world and was promoted at home by the many examples of success that so many different types and
