nations put out a great deal more pollution than others, the focus of the problem takes on a different position. Recently China has been experiencing a great deal of pollution,
and it stands only second to the United States in terms of green house gases emitted by the nation. This clearly affects the entire globe for we all ultimately share
the same air. The following paper examines the pollution in China, and then discusses how it is affecting the United States. Chinas Pollution "During the early part of
the year, there is considerable outflow of pollution from China and southeast Asia" as is evidenced in an incredible increase in carbon monoxide which comes from industrial emissions (NASA, 2005).
(The year noted in the satellite images on this particular site was 2003). This is due to the increase in industrial endeavors in China as they come into their own
in relationship to global competition. One author notes that, "While economic growth has increased incomes and improved health indicators, as well as reduced overall poverty levels, growth has not
been totally benign" (EIA, 2005). In essence, although some things have improved there are other areas where problems are emerging. There are high levels of pollution that come from coal
combustion and this is leading to the damaging of health, the reduction in the quality of air and water, the damaging of agriculture and many other aspects within China (EIA,
2005). In terms of specific diseases it is likely that there are no new diseases, but rather the same diseases or conditions that have been seen in the United States
