in the form of his own defiance. With hard work and a diligent attitude, Schwab was solely responsible for manufacturing the wide-flanged Grey beam, an innovative fabrication that exists
in such famous structures as the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building (Creating An Industrial Giant). After he talked the powers-that-be at Bethlehem Steel into trusting his instinct,
he was never looked upon as anything less than a genius from that point forward. Soon he established his own conglomerate known as U.S. Steel Corp., Americas largest steel
maker. However, while his business finesse was unbeatable, his personal attributes left much to be desired. A gambling man at heart, Schwab was unable to separate his business
