Students reported to the After School Program twice each week after their regular school day. Assuming the Colquitt County academic year contains 180 student days,
maximum attendance can be set at 72 days (180 days ? 5 days/week x 2 days/week). Attendance on 72 days is considered to be 100 percent, though the maximum
number of days that any student attended the after school program was 90. Attendance of 75 percent is 54 (72 x 0.75). Fifty percent attendance is 36 days
(72 x 0.5). Of the 86 students included in the study, 23 (26.7 percent) attended the after school program 54 or more days
for total attendance of more than 75 percent. There were 31 students (36 percent) who attended the after school program 36 or fewer days, or less than 50 percent
of the time. Figures 1 through 4 illustrate the score results of the two groups. Figure 1. Reading Score Results for =75% Attendance

In these and all other charts highlighting test scores over time for the after school group, the scores for two years
and number of days in attendance in the after school program refer to a specific student. Students are identified in the study only by a number to preserve individual
privacy, but that number has been preserved in all analysis steps so that individual results are linked with individual students. Figure 3. Math Score Results for =75% Attendance
