by Frank Abagnale. In this book Abagnale tells of his exploits as he impersonated different professionals, forged numerous checks, and essentially ran from every agent out to get him and
stop him from his fraudulent behavior. The following paper provides a book review of Abagnales book. Catch Me if You Can Abagnales story starts out when Abagnale is already
impersonating a pilot. However, it quickly takes the reader into a simple examination of Abagnales past and some of the reasons why he is engaged in the life of deceit.
He goes back to his past and discusses his parents breaking up, which was very hard for him. Yet, at the same time he does not blame them for his

when he left home after the divorce and simply set out on a life of deception. His first stint as someone else was as a pilot. He was able to
create false documents, write his own checks, and use the premise that he was only riding on the plane to get to his next flight. In this he was never
really required to fly. He pretended to be a pilot for about 2 years and then moved on to pretending he was a doctor, with no one the wiser to
what he was doing in terms of impersonating people. In these respects he was just a smooth talking young man who looked older and possessed the ability to seem truthful
and confident about whatever he was doing, or pretending to do. The chapters progressively tell of how his deception ranged far and wide across a great deal of Europe.
