BODY The Enlightenment was one of the central tasks by which major thinkers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries established themselves.
What this means in terms of the manner by which these great philosophers looked at the broader scope of existence lies within the dismissal of what had heretofore served
to project man into the next phases of his existence. Many influential men, therefore, embraced and critiqued the Enlightenment at the same time, recognizing it as a time in
