likely to experience the symptoms of depression or anxiety, and they are also more likely to experience long-term medical problems themselves, such as developing "heart disease, cancer, diabetes or arthritis"
(HHS, 2008). For instance, one research study determined that caregivers for elderly people who became stressed from the tasks entailed in taking care of a disabled spouse were 63 percent
more likely to die within 4 years when compared to caregivers who were not stressed (HHS, 2008). The students responses to the AMA
