over those who do not have knowledge. In order to assess this we need to look at the concept of knowledge, what it is and the way in an organisation
can create it and use it to add value. After looking at the idea and use of knowledge we will then consider how it is applied to giant an
advantage by using an example. Levinson (2005) points out that information alone is not knowledge and not all information will have value, to add value information and intellectual
resources, such as intellectual capital in order to create knowledge that can then be used. R. Gregory Wenig takes a similar approach,
Wenig and Levinson are in agreement that to be of value the knowledge need to be developed into a form there it is able to add value to an
organisation, in effect become wisdom. Wenig looks at how knowledge is gained and then used (KMF, 1996). Knowledge, it is argued is gained from experience as well as the collection
