behaviour. In many ways there are many similarities between the human behavioural sciences and the study of consumer behaviour, indeed many argue that all human behaviour may be reduced down
to consumer behaviour, other may argue that this is very short sighted. By looking at the subject of human behaviour and how it may be determined there is a
plethora of evidence that testifies to both the irrationality and the predictability if human behaviour. The way in which a human behaves is often though t be driven not by
the conscious mind, but by the unconscious mind at a very basic level. Human behaviour has developed over many years. One thirty of human behaviour looks to the role of
evolution. The argument is that as most basic needs and desires are driven by the needs to survive thrive and reproduce. This focused on the need such as food and
shelter. This is reflected in the behaviour of infants, their desires and needs are self focused, crying when they are hungry or cold, unaware of the needs of others. However,
as the individual grows there are other aspects of behaviour that ,may be seen as dating back and accounted for by evolutionary psychology, and also the to way in which
man it motivated. The work of Maslow may be seen as interesting to use to consider what motivate man to behave and react in the way he does. Prior
