The YouTube video link faxed by the student for this assignment for this analysis indicates the extent to which dancers must practice and rehearse to achieve this goal, which is
to synchronize their movements and achieve visual harmony with the music. The video shows a dance studio with a hardwood floor and
bars mounted at waist height on the mirrored walls. In the video, two lines of students listen to the instructors directions, as he tells them precisely how to move to
the beat. He says, "Were going one, two and drop the hands." On the first and second beat the dancers raise their hands and then on his instruction, their hands
gracefully fall. Then, they shift to the right, do a turn and a leg extension, while pulling in a shoulder. This troupe is primarily composed of girls. However, there
are a few boys in the group as well. At this stage in the learning process, there are several individuals who are out of step and somewhat lost. The
indications are, as they attempt the dance moves that are described by the instructor, that this is the initial lesson for the movements in this particular part of this dance
routine. The girls show progress in learning the movement, but a young man, a heavy-set guy in a black-and-white plaid shirt, is
totally lost. He watches the other dancers for a few moments and then wanders out of the camera frame. Also, there is another young man who is in a wheelchair.
